When looking for a family fun activity in McDonough; Pottery Painting is the answer. Not only will you be able express your creative side, but also create a memory you and your kids will remember for years to come. Painting pottery requires no experience and painting your own pottery is an easy process; pick your piece, paint, and pick up when fired. It’s fun for all ages and our pricing is all-inclusive, the price you see on the piece includes everything, but sales tax.
Every finished piece will be dipped by our professionals in a protective high gloss glaze, placed in a kiln and fired above 1,500 °F for 24 hours to harden the glaze and create the finished product. As a note; the paint you will be using is non-toxic and lead-free making them safe for all ages. Anytime after 6pm, adults are permitted to bring their own wine or beer when in the studio to paint.
Due to the nature of kiln-fired arts, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions, kiln fired pieces can crack, shatter or do the unexpected during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters, a store credit will be issued to repaint the same or another item along with a ginormous apology because we hate to see bad things happen to your creations.
Price: $10 – $125 all inclusive.
